Welcome to the Spheres Bay Area Community Impact blog. We’re glad you’re here.

This is the space where we’ll share stories from across our programs, reflections on the work, and updates on what we’re building. We believe the journey from economic precarity to lasting advancement is rarely a straight line — and we think the honest, in-progress stories of that journey matter as much as the polished case studies.

Over time, you can expect a few different kinds of posts:

• Participant stories (shared with permission) — the real arc of working through a program
• Reflections from our coaches on what’s working, what’s hard, and what we’re learning
• Updates on programs and initiatives as we grow
• Resources and tools we wish more people had access to

Why this work

Spheres BACI exists because we noticed a gap. Plenty of organizations help with job placement. Plenty more help with financial literacy. A growing number help with mental health and wellness. But almost none weave all of these together into a single, coherent path — and that’s where lasting change actually happens.

We’re not here to be everything to everyone. We’re here to be deeply useful to the people we serve: individuals from disenfranchised communities working toward economic mobility, and entrepreneurs building businesses with purpose.
